What happened during SuRie's Eurovision 2018 performance?

Eurovision fans were left in shock as an unidentified intruder burst on stage and grabbed the microphone from SuRie during her performance.

As the singer launched into her second chorus, the stage invader burst on stage and interrupted the song.

Understandably shocked by what had happened, SuRie looked confused as security wrestled with the invader and removed him from the stage.

Graham Norton said: "She was doing a brilliant job anyway, we’re not sure what is going to happen, whether will get an opportunity to perform again, I just don’t know."

The intruder was later reported to be in police custody.

What did the stage invader say during SuRie's Eurovision performance?

The stage invader chillingly ranted about 'Nazis' and 'freedom' after grabbing the microphone during SuRie's rendition of Storm.

According to The Mirror, he said something along the lines of: “For the Nazis of the UK media, we demand freedom."

Following the performance, the 29-year-old singer received a standing ovation from the 20,000 people packed into the arena.

SuRie decided to decline the opportunity to perform the song again at the end of the show.
